It had been years since she'd been around here, the place where she had become a mother once again. The place where she gave immortality to her own grandsire, Darla. The stars screamed for her to make them a family again. The voices in her head told her of the destruction they would cause and the streets would be flowing with blood. It was that, that made her come here back then. It was the thought of Angelus, her Daddy picking up where the Whirlwind had left off. She wanted her boys back. She grimaced when her thoughts landed on the bleach blond vampire she had called her own. Spike, her black knight, had gone into the sunshine. He had danced and played and stripped with the sunshine. He was bathed in it. He no longer loved her the way he did when they were a family.
Drusilla craved love, maybe it was because her family and everyone she grew to love had been taken from her. That had been because of her Daddy as well. He had been a very bad Daddy then. But she in a way loved him. The way he touched her and caressed her. His kisses, it was everything a girl would want and more. It was everything a vampire could want and so much more. The occasional torture sessions with him were nothing sort of satisfying, but again those were taken from her as well. He had his soul. Spike had his soul. The sunshine had them both.
The click of heels on the pavement could be heard as she walked the familar streets of L.A. She had been here. She experienced this place, yet it was so new and foreign to her. Her eyes took in the city that she had seen in her head get plunged into Hell. She had seen the city engulfed in flame along with her boys. She had seen the rampage of hell, the death that demons created. She had smiled at that, but for an odd reason fear had taken over her body because she had seen something about her Angel, her Daddy fighting. She didn't want him to dust, sure suffer for the torment he had put her through, but never dust. That though was a bit strange as well to her because at a point in time she had wanted to kill him for her cure. She had wanted him to die so her black knight in leather could bring her back to full health, but in the end they were rewarded with the return of Angelus. He and the Slayer had been naughty.
"My head is ringing, the stars all talk at once. They say..." She paused for a moment and smiled. It was an almost innocent but evil smile. Closing her eyes Drusilla danced in the street that was currently void of any cars. Laughing she came to a stop and faced the opposite direction she had been going. "They say, Daddy's back." She let the smile widen as she stood in the street facing the way she came. Her dark hair hung in curls, and her body was encased in a beautiful lacey dress with a white slip underneath. It was something she had left behind when she was taken to that awful place with the white walls and the mean men in coats.
