It started from the moment Angel had told him to get back out there and patrol, the annoying itch that crawled its way up his spine and over his skin. Spike wanted to just hit Angel, or talk his head off. Either one posed as a wonderful and interesting way to see his grandsire crack. Sure, Spike went back out through the sewers with Illyria, but as soon as the two returned Spike shook himself off muttering about how ungreatful the man is and how he wish he could just give him one good hit to the nose.
Marching up the stairs Spike grumbled, not caring if he was being noisy or annoying or waking those that still felt they needed sleep. No, he had one destination in mind. Angel's room. He had a bone to pick with him. Not just on this mornings activities either. It was a whole can of worms that sat too long and Spike wanted to finally just let it loose. He was becoming irritated. Ever since that last battle things were weighing them all down. Blue's sudden change in demeanor, Wesley's death, just everything that happened seemed to be a dark cloud over everyone.
Reaching the door Spike banged on it with the intention of annoying his grandsire. "Angel! Open up the soddin door! 've got a bone to pick with you." Spike's accent coated his words giving him a bit of the edge he had went he first took on the accent. Smirking Spike stared at the door for a moment before calling out to Angel again.
"I know you can hear me ya poof. You're not bloody deaf. You're soddin vampire!" Spike stood there tapping his boot clad foot against the door lightly as to annoy the older vampire that was within the room.
Need a bit of fun around here, beside Captain Forehead deserves a bit of a verbal kickin. He thought sourly as he continued to tap on the door to Angel's room. It was just Spike being Spike.

Angel sat in his chair overlooking a few open books flipping through them precariously as rubbed his eyes. It had been a long day of researching but he finally found what he was looking for. Angel scribbled down some more notes on a pad of paper as he took s sip of his mug of pigs blood. The blood had gone cold as angel opened his mouth and closed in in disgust at the cold taste of it. HE then heard the sound of approaching footsteps. Then came the pounding at the door and the most hated annoying voice angel has ever heard.
Angel sighed in annoyance just what he need after a hard day of research. 'Angel kept thinking to himself just ignore him and he will go away eventually.' But if he didn't acknowledge spike he would just keep up with the annoying act. "Go away spike I'm not in the mood to deal with you right now." Angel got up from his desk and tore off the piece of paper from the pad and folded it in half and placed it on the desk. He got up from the chair and grabbed his jacket and put it on and tucked the paper into his pocket. Angel unlocked the door and opened it up and he stood face to face with spike "Move out of the way spike!"

It had been a few moment before Spike heard the brooding voice through the door. For Angel not to just come out and say something to his face, Spike knew something was going on that Angel wasn't saying. Figuring that his Grandsire was keeping something from him made him aggitated. Angel had no right to keep secrets, especially from those who were fighting along side him. Especially his 'family'.
"I will not soddin go away. You and I need to talk." He growled through the door as he heard Angel shuffle about the room. A smirk mad it way to his lips seeing as he made the other vampire get up and finally come to the door. A smug look was etched onto his face when he heard the lock give and the door open, but it quickly fell when Angel demanded for him to move.
"Told you before ya poofter, 'm not goin anywhere till you and I talk." Spike crossed his arms in front of his chest and stood his ground. Sure, Angel may have been taller than him and bigger, but it wasn't like Spike hadn't ever taken him down in a fight. If it came down to that Spike could knock the other vampire down, tie him to a chair and make him listen. But he was feeling nice today surprisingly. He had gotten his spot of violence in the sewers when him and Illyria had a run in with a demon.
"I wouldn't be here if it wasn't important Captain Broods A lot. Now go sit so we can get to this chat. You and I both know something is going on. I need to know what you aren't sayin to the rest of us." Spike drawled as he glared into Angel's dark eyes.

Angel would of liked nothing more than to of knock spike out but Angel resisted the temptation. Angel was in a hurry but seeing as spike wouldn't let him pass without a explanation. Angel sighed in agitation and walked back over to his desk and sat down in his chair facing spike with a look of utter most annoyance at him. "Fine spike lets talk ill give you the short version since your a blonde and i don't want to overwhelm your brain but i want this to go between you and me no one else so close the door captain peroxide." Angel laughed at his to zingers at spike inside his head. Angel waited for spike to close the door and sighed.
"I have been doing a lot of research mostly mystical and after much pain staking research i finally found a way to help out a old friend of ours." Angel sighed and rubbed his eyes in irritation "So that means I'm going to be gone for a little while and as much as i hate to say it the very thought makes me want to vomit your going to be in charge while I am away spike." Angels suddenly fought back the urge to vomit as he finished his sentence."If you can't figure out who it is with all that bleach rotting your brain its Xander who I'm going to help i owe him a debt for bringing back buffy to life and i intend to pay him back." Angel got up from his chair and began to walk towards the door and opened it and began to slowly walk down the hallway. Angel then began to have second thoughts about putting spike in charge He began to think inside his head 'Hmm maybe i should of put Illyria in charge while I'm away that would of ticked spike off.' But he knew that She was becoming a bit unstable so he had no other choice but to put spike in charge.

Spike smirked at the obvious aggrivation that he was causing his grandsire. It wasn't like Spike got much entertainment besides the demon fighting and fighting the good fight. He believed that Angel needed to be knocked down a few notches once in a while and he was the man, or vampire to do it. Family and all. Hearing Angel sigh, he quirked an eyebrow as his grandsire turned and sat in the chair by his desk.
Whatever was going on had to be serious for angel to actually agree to talking to him like this. Spike's ears perked up when he caught what Angel was saying. A scowl found it's way to his face when Angel called him blonde. Sure Spike's hair was bleached blonde and he wasn't always a thinker, but that didn't mean he never used his brain.
"Oi, so pulling blonde jokes now are we? I could tell you a joke or two..." He threatened but stopped when Angel seemed to be waiting for something. The door. Rolling his eyes she shrugged and turned to close the door. "Alright Forehead talk..."
"I have been doing a lot of research mostly mystical and after much pain staking research i finally found a way to help out a old friend of ours." Angel sighed.
Spike wondered for a moment on who it was since they had made so many 'friends' in the past. He had been somewhat friends with the Scoobies, then there where to many demons he had come across. Some humans though he was sure it wasn't any of those humans. Some of those that worked at Wolfram and Hart. It baffled him for a moment, but something struck him. Old. The word old. Raising eyebrow he silently told Angel to continue in which it seemed the older vampire got the hint since he answered.
"If you can't figure out who it is with all that bleach rotting your brain its Xander who I'm going to help I owe him a debt for bringing back buffy to life and I intend to pay him back."
Spike frowned, he was inbetween upset and confused. There was no doubt that Spike was happy to have Buffy back when the Scoobies have done their little mojo, but it had ripped her from Heaven. It had caused her pain and suffering. Spike had seen it first hand what that had done to her. So it upset him that Angel could just write it off. The vampire was slightly confused as to why he was in charge when he should be going with to make sure things went over smoothly. No one had to see him. Hell he'd just cover Angel's back if need be. A part of him was still apprehensive about seeing the Scoobies and buffy again. He knew it would happen eventually, he still very much cared for the Slayer. "Who in the bloody hell says you are doing this alone, poofter?" He asked making a decision then and there that it may be time to get over his little dilemma and come out with the truth. "And really. Do you not think before you act. Sure the Whelp means well, but they put my... they put her through the ringer with that little piece of mojo they worked."
Spike growled as he thought about the subject more and more. Angel was going to see Xander which entailed Buffy being there which meant the poof was planning something. He always had something planned when it came to Buffy. "Is the Slayer going to be there?" Spike question with a lifted brow.

Angel sighed sadly once again as he listened to Spike talk and ask his questions. Angel was trying with all his might not to let his temper get the best of him and throw spike threw the wall and beat him till he lost consciousness. After all someone had to stay and keep and eye on Illyria. Angel could tell she was starting to lose it day bye day ever since Wesley died. "The person who says I'm doing this alone is me theres no other option someone has to stay behind and watch Illyria, you and I both know that we can't leave here alone and since I'm the one with all the mystical experience I am going." Angel reached into his desk and grabbed the keys to his car and got up from the desk walking slowly to the door.
As he Reached the door he placed his hand on the knob and turned his head at spike and said "I don't know if Buffy is going to be there spike." Angel turned the handle on the door knob and opened the door and began to walk out when spike began to speak again about Buffy. Angel sigh in aggravation and turned his head back to spike. "I know they put her through the ringer but they had no other choice sunny dale was overwhelmed and people were dieing and there was no slayer to help the town." Angel walked out of the door and closed it behind him and began walking down the hallway towards the garage. Angel mind began swimming with thoughts of what he would say if Buffy was there he had not seen here since the day before she went into the hell mouth. What was angel thinking of course he knew Buffy was gonna be there after all Xander is her best friend plus angel just liked the notion of messing with spikes head. Though it was true someone had to stay behind to watch Illyria.

Spike glowered at Angel, his grandsire was trying to once more put him in his place. Angel was trying to tell Spike what to do, even if Spike was working with Angel. The vampire frowned, he worked WITH Angel not FOR him. The poofter had no right to tell him what to do. If Spike wanted to go, he was going to go. Being given orders never sat to kindly with the vampire. He always liked to do his own thing.
Sure, Illyria was having a bit of trouble lately, anyone with half a brain could see that. But Blue knew enough to take care of herself if only for a day. Not that Spike wasn't worried about her because she was after all a friend or the closest thing to it. He wouldn't lose her after losing so many others, but this was important too. If he had the slightest chance at making somethings right he was thinking this would be it. "Angel, you may be the leader around here, but remember who I am. Blue knows how to care for herself if only for a day or two. I'm going with, besides you have Connor to watch the place." He wasn't sure his grandsire's whelp was a good thing to mention or not, but it was true. The kid was here and he knew how to fight. He could help Illyria if needed. Besides if he spoke with the Old One she would tell him to do what he wanted. That's what he liked about her. Spike saw Angel grab his car keys and walk to the door. A frown marred his features. "Where the hell do you think you're going forehead? We aren't done here." Spike watched as Angel ignored him and reached for the door but before he left he turned. "I don't know if Buffy is going to be there Spike."
The hell he didn't know, Angel knew. He always knew. He had some kind of a Buffy radar. Spike growled as he began to walk out the door. He mentioned Buffy and what the Scoobies did in hopes of distracting him to continue this conversation. But what Spike got made him growl again. "Bloody hell! And you said you loved her. From what I heard just now it was about the job and not the girl. She deserved Heaven Angel!" Spike yelled as Angel shut the door. Yanking it open Spike stormed after him, through the hallways and to the garage. "What are you so afraid of? That I'll get the girl? Is that one of the reasons why you don't want me along. Here's a news flash mate, she knew where you were the whole time but who was she with? ... Me... get over yourself forehead." Spike let his mouth run before thinking.
