It's been a little over twelve months since Buffy Summers and her friends changed the world forever. New Slayers are popping up left and right; Some using their new abilities for good, and some using them for not so good. For example: A dangerous Slayer Gang has surfaced in Los Angeles, and is causing havoc. They refer to themselves as The Rogue. As each day passes, The Rogue grow larger and stronger. How long before they spread out of L.A.'s limitations?
The recent troubles in L.A. have not gone unnoticed. Buffy and the rest of the Scooby Gang reunite in The City of Angels, having taken their separate paths after the destruction of Sunnydale. The Gang - Buffy, Xander, Willow, Giles, Dawn, Faith, ect - decide to make their base of operations a worn down, abandoned warehouse. The newest hangout may appear dinky on the outside, but within its walls is everything the Gang needs. It never hurts to have magic on your side!
Together, Buffy and the group hope to control the rising, Rogue slayers, and keep the evil activity to a minimum. All seems well at first, but The Rogue may easily be one of the biggest threats The Scoobies have ever faced. Buffy Summers may not be the only chosen one anymore, but other chosen are against her. With the dangers growing right in front of their eyes, the Gang may need some backup. The fight seemed to never end, and it never did. In some ways. Angel survived the battle against the Senior Partners' army, but losses took place. Dear friends Wesley Wyndam-Pryce and Charles Gunn were lost, having gone out for the good fight. Also making it through the battle was Spike and Illyria, the two newest additions to Angel's Team. The remaining few barely made it through that rainy night, yet somehow managed, and returned to the only place imaginable...
The Hyperion Hotel. Burying his fallen friends in the hotel's garden, Angel was left with an undecided path, unsure of where to go next. That is until his son, Connor, turned up once more. With his offspring's comfort, Angel was able to settle on reopening Angel Investigations, and remain in the Hyperion's walls. Los Angeles was beginning to revert back into a place of evil activity, as a new gang, The Rogue, was gaining momentum quickly. Who better to save the day then Angel & Co.?
The four, new founding members of Angel Inc. - Angel, Spike, Illyria, and Connor - cleared out the hotel, and moved themselves in. Although they continue the good fight, the members each have their own troubles. Angel and Spike both struggle with the close presence of Buffy Summers, who has arrived in L.A. Illyria cannot seem to come to grasp Wesley's passing, and is growing more emotionally unstable every day. The walls of the Hyperion haunt the Old One, as they hold some of Winifred Burkle's happiest memories. Connor tries to separate his synthetic memories from his real ones, and keep his dual lives apart, as this task will define who he will become in the years to follow.
